This unique painting, influenced by the fascinating Missoni Design, signifies my keen interest in optical art and visual perception.
While working on that I had the pleasure to make some specific color experimentation and research on phenomena like simultaneous contrast and optical color mixing.
Abstract at the first close glance, this work becomes realistic when the viewer gets some distance and discovers an expressive portrait of a woman. She reminds of the iconic movie stars that combined feminine beauty with mysterious sensuality.
Painted with acrylic colors on 0,30 mm aluminium plate, coated with protective satin spray varnish, signed and dated at the back.
